This is a reproduction of a 1905 Army Form B 50 in my collection, the Soldier's Small Book, as issued and carried by the British Tommy in the top right pocket of his Service
Dress jacket in the pre- and early-war period. They are not the "cheap'n'cheerful" sort of copies of similar period paperwork available for a fraction of the cost on Ebay and elsewhere, but detailed replicas that feature the correct embossed cloth material
covers that are found on originals, and with careful use should last many years.
The Soldier's Small Book allowed him to carry a concise record of his Army service, and
assorted information that would prove of use during service, from details of his attestation, next-of-kin, fines, saluting, badges of rank, rifles and kit cleaning instructions, to assorted recipes suitable for field cooking, notes on marriage, civil
employment after service, wills, and much more.
These are brand new copies supplied completely unfilled so that you can add your own details to improve your WW1 living
history Other Ranks or Non-Commissioned Officers impression.
The pictures below show one of my reproductions alongside the 1905 original it was copied from. The cost is
for one reproduction Soldier's Small Book only, the original is not for sale or included.
Soldier's Small Book costs £35.00, plus postage and packaging. If purchased together with a 1906 or 1915 AB64 then there is a small saving (£65.00, plus postage and packaging, instead of £70.00).
